KAS & KALKAN

Drive further along the main Fethiye/Antalya road and a 2hr drive will take you first to the resorts of Kalkan and then Kas. Kalkan is a small harbour village now hosting lots of villas and apartments up the mountainside.  Narrow streets twist down to the harbour there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

Drive along the winding costal road with magnificent views will take you to Kas, with its cobbled streets and quaint boutique shops; Kas is a joy to visit.  From Kas you are able to take a trip across the water to the Greek Island of Meis (please remember your passport), or you can swim with the dolphins.  Kas has a well-preserved rock tomb and amp theatre.

KATRANCI AND GUNLUKLU

Back on the road from Fethiye to Dalaman you will find this beautiful cove of Katranci with its azure sea and fine sandy beach. It is signposted along the road.  The hilltops are covered with red pines, eucalyptus trees.  From the pathway along the shoreline crossing over the hill, the Kizlar cove is reached, again covered with pine forests on three sides. These coves are more peaceful and quiet than the ones in Olu Deniz. There are also slides from the hillside leading directly into the sea - fun for the kids.  A real hidden treasure!
Gunluklu is another beautiful cove and is signposted from Fethiye to Dalaman.

GOKEK

Gokek can be found off the main Fethiye to Dalaman road. Gocek has now become one of the most important centres of yachting tourism recently. It is a unique tourism heaven with its numerous bays and islands, near ruin places and surrounding pine grove hills besides its natural harbour. Enjoy the many fish restaurants and bars, and enliven your holidays with daily boat tours and water sports.

DALYAN & TURTLE BEACH

Boating can be had on the lakes of Dalyan, through the river delta, twisting and turning through thick vegetation that is overlooked by 4th century BC tombs. Daylan was where the film the ‘African Queen’ was filmed.  A day trip could include a stop at the sulphurous mud baths and the afternoon on the golden sands of Istuzu beach, famous as a protected breeding ground of the caretta-caretta sea turtle.

EPHESUS AND PUMUKKALE

A two day one night trip can be had to visit some of the best - preserved ruins in existence Ephesus was one of the most prominent cities of the ancient world. The remains of the great Roman city include the huge amphitheatre, library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian.

Pamukkale (also available for 1 day trip) is a cascading spring waterfall pouring down the mountainside creating terraces of glittering white basins filled with thermal water. Also explore the nearby ruins of Hieropalis what was a Roman spa centre.
