Historically this was a big city its population moved to Antalya and Side became known as Eski Adalia or Old Antalya and was buried.
Side was a slave market, after this period, Side turned to legitimate commerce and still prospered.
Basically Side is a harbor city located on a peninsula region in the south of Asia Minor between Lycia and Cilicia, from the Mediterranean to Mount Taurus.
It is located on the eastern part of the Pamphylian coast, which lies about 20 km east of the mouth of the Eurymedon River. Food - The most popular food of Side is made from fish. There are some very good restaurants that serve food in a very classical manner with wooden tables and rickety wooden chairs. After food you can have drink or rock in a party.
